AccuMate V is a versatile, 4-stage, automatic smart charger and maintainer specially designed for fast recharging of custom & standard cruiser & touring motorcycles batteries, under charged due to the low RPM of large V twin motors when cruisin’ around town. The maintenance program is configured for safe long term storage charging of batteries from 7Ah to about 100Ah, making it ideal for long term seasonal storage of car & boat batteries too.

The ‘package’ includes an E-Z mount wall bracket / cord winder for people who like their garage neat & tidy and a SAE adapter to hook up directly to a previously fitted standard battery snap cord.

Advanced 4-step charging program :

STEP 1: Boost – Constant current charging at 1,8A until the rising voltage reaches14,3V.

STEP 2: Absorption - Voltage held at 14,3V until the current drawn by the battery falls to 200mA.

STEP 3: Maintenance - Float mode : the voltage is held at 13,5V for ideal long-term battery care.

STEP 4: Interactive standby - Monitors if current exceeds 200mA during long term maintenance charging. If it does, it cycles between steps 2 and 3 to prevent the battery from losing any charge due to permanently connected devices such as an alarm or parasitic drain caused by aged or faulty vehicle wiring.
