Tanis Engine Preheat System for Rotax 912/914 Series
Engines. This is a rugged system intended for
those who are serious about flying safely in cold
weather conditions. Based on earlier successful and
proven designs, this system applies heat to strategic
locations on the engine including the cylinder heads,
crankcase, and oil tank.
The Pre Heat Kit consists
of:
4 x cylinder head heating
elements
1 x crank case heating
element
1 x oil tank heating pad
Wiring harness and
installation hardware
Tanis Pre Heat system plugs in to
a 120V or 230V outlet and is designed to be run for 4 to 5 hrs
before engine start to fully preheat the engine. A cowl
blanket is suggested for additional insulation and
improved performance. Tanis pre heat system can be
left plugged in for prolonged periods without the risk
of damage to the heating elements.
Kits are available in both
120V and 230V versions:
